Q: My silver rings are getting black stains on them, why?
A: Due to the fact that we humans secrete minerals and salts, sometimes silver jewelry can darken (oxidize). This is not strange or bad at all and can happen with all silver alloys. These stains will go away by normal use or through a wash with soap and water
